Come drink this water Come drink this blood Come and drink this love that you could not afford

One Week
Three Kids
A lake & a family reunion.

I'm on a family vacation in Branson, Missouri right now, but not exactly my family. I'm babysitting three kids while I'm on family vacation with their whole family. So my week will consist of swimming, eating, boating, tubing, eating, trying to remember everyone's name & waking up very early. Oh yeah & eating.

It feels like summer now.

Everything I have, everything I own All my mistakes man you already know I wanna be free, I wanna be free

One of my favorite things I used to do when I lived on campus is go take a blanket, sit by the pond & do my homework in the sunshine. Now that I live in an apartment it doesn't seem that I do this often any more. So now that another school year has started & when everything calms down I think I'll do this one day. And take my soccer ball with me for my "recreational pursuit."
I'm in a dancing mood tonight! Driving home from work, I rolled down my windows, blasted my favorite song from Akon cd, "Freedom" and just let my hair blow through the night wind. Man, there is no other feeling! Okay so I realize that these are pictures of the summer time (sorta) & most of you are transitioning into the summer as I am. I'm still in denial summer is gone so I will continue posting summer pictures to make me happy! Long Live Summer!

Clouds so swift The rain's pouring in We're gonna see a movie called "Gunga Din" Pack up your money, put up your tent, McGuinn You ain't goin' nowhere

I have had some friends tell me that if I went to the beach in the winter I probably wouldn't like it at all. But ever since the first time I saw Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, I have always wanted to go. I'm sure it would be freezing & I really don't like the cold at all! But I just want to go once to the ocean in the middle of the in winter.

Well I see skies of blue and I see clouds of white And the brightness of day I like the dark and I think to myself What a wonderful world

Tonight roaming around Barnes & Noble, I came upon this book Waves by Steve Hawk. The front of the book grabbed my attention immediately. Anything that has to do with the ocean, beach, or surfing I pick up. I flipped through each page wishing I could dive into to each photograph. The book was so beautifully done & it just makes you want to ride each wave & feel that water underneath you. Hopefully it will be sitting on my coffee table very soon.

It`s dusk as all the shadows fall The sun is laid to rest At night the city comes to life As the light dies in the west

I'm holding onto the summer as much as i can! It's drifting away so fast it seems. I'm determined to continue my summer spirit into fall. I have been putting surfing & traveling pictures all over my apartment, so when the fall comes i can stay in a summer mindset.
Oh also i colored my hair! When Dea was here we did it together & it was so much fun. I'm kinda a dark red head now, but will slowly become a honey golden blond. I'm ready for the change

Got no time Got no mind For the line In this life No time to think Time for sleep now Time to sink way into the blue, dear

My friend Jen is in Australia right now on missions for YWAM. I was talkin to her the other day & she really wants me to come do the same thing after i graduate. She said she could really see me down there. I planned on going to do missions with YWAM after i graduate, or atleast its one of the things i might do. But wouldn't that just be amazing, being at the beach & surfing while doing missions! Dude wow! And again i say, "What am i doing in Texas??" No no, i do love it here.
