I hope you like your men sweet & polite I thought I was done with telling you but I ain’t nearly halfway through

I have seen so many photos of people making beautiful tents all over lovely blogland lately. I have always loved tents & making forts since I was little. There were five of us girls in my family & we were together all the time, so you can imagine the kind of amazing forts we would build. Anything we could find that wasn't already attached to a bed was fair game for us to snatch. Two years ago I bought a beautiful hippie-ish tapestry from Urban Outfitters. I used it on my bed for awhile. Now, if I have a picnic it's always the first thing I grab so I can sit pretty under the sun. Yesterday, I finally decided to make a tent over my bed. It was just that kind of day where I felt like being a little kid & hiding away. I think it turned out pretty well & it's so fun to sleep under.

10 things I'm loving...this weather (rainy) is not one of them.

1. Working out. This is my 3rd week of working out everyday & I feel quite good about myself.
2. Comfy nightgowns. I got one the other day
3. Little gentleman with surfer hair
4. Thinking of the ranch I will someday call my home. I want lots of animals too.
5. These engagement photos on a ferry (I forgot what site I found them on.)
6. The writing of this tattoo
7. Late night honesty talks with my best friend Lexie, living 800 miles away from one another is not easy, but we make it work.
8. The thought of getting my hands dirty this summer when I have my balcony plants. Hopefully I won't kill them!
9. Zooey and her tambourine playing skills. I hope I look as cool as her playing mine.
10. The simplicity elegance of this room. My 2 favorite things are the huge window & the guitar placed in the corner.

One exam down, a lot more to go! It's the weekend already & I'm so excited for it to start. I have a couple of things planned. Okay so it's only a couple more days before the move & I know I have been talking about this a lot but I'm so ready!
It's raining here now, a sign that fall is almost here. I went to the movie & saw Julie & Julia & Taking Woodstock. Julie & Julia was really cute. I liked it a lot, but wow did it make me so hungry! My friend Sapna & I went back to her house & basically scarfed down dinner again. Taking Woodstock, oh man did I have high hopes for this movie & it so let me down. I just thought there would be more or I dunno, something else. I probably wouldn't go see it again though, big bummer. Shea & I are watching a western on AMC right now with James Coburn in it & I just noticed he aged really well. He is one of my favorite older actors.
Have any of you seen any movies lately that you recommend? I'm always looking for new (or old) movies I have yet to see.

Yesterday on a break between classes I stopped at Barnes & Noble to have a cup of good ol' Harney & Sons Tea. I also make a b line for the magazines, & decor is one of my first stops of many. Ever since Domino, probably the best decorating magazine ever known to man discontinued, finding a decor magazine that I can really fall in love with has been very hard. I have found a few articles in magazines that I have liked, but not really the whole magazine has ever been really good. I picked up a few & one of them happened to be Livingetc.
Now I'm probably the last person to find theis magazine & all of you decor gooroos have been reading it for years! Kinda outta the loop on that one. But I was just amazed by the whole magazine! Each article was such beautifully put & the number one important thing is that it was inspiring! I also liked Ell Decor UK. So I'm really excited to finally find a magazine that I can buy again!!

I don't think this week could be any crazier! It's the craziest week I have had in a long time, but I'm not stressed. Getting my transcript & registered for classes before monday, so basically I have had a couple of days to do that because I lounged this summer, I don't regret that at all! Shea & I might be moving by next week or we might not. There are a lot of things floating in the air right now as of where I will be & what I will be doing this fall. Will I be in class? Will I be in a different apartment? I'm waiting on things like this to get the answer. I'm a little nervous but oddly enough not stressed at all. I rarely ever get stressed. Whatever happens happens. If I'm supposed to take off for the semester & get a job, I can do that. Yesterday Shea & I with our amazing friend Michelle went apartment hunting all day! By the end of the day I was drained & didn't feel like doing anything. But Michelle asked Shea & I to come with her to a worship/ prayer group she goes to with her friends. It was really what I needed. So in the past 2 days I have prayed a lot! I'm not sure what's going to happen, I'm okay with that though.

I just found out today that I will be going to Santa Fe for a whole week! My sister Shea & I are leaving on Sunday & who knows when we will be back?? I have been wanting to go all summer & I really can't believe we finally are!
We are going to see my brother Emmett, nephews, nieces & my other sister Amy. I haven't seen my sister Amy since I was 12! So it's going to be good. But I have soooo much to get done before I leave with making sure everything is reasy & set to go for this upcoming semester. I need to do my pilates to relax right now.
I love this room too!

I have completely fallen in love with Suzani! I learned about it last spring & I finally bought some suzani fabric today. I'm so excited about this & I think I'm going to do a painting. I just hope my whole house doesn't turn out to be some big suzani art piece! My sister might have a small problem with that.

I'm on holiday out of town & away from my lil home for the week. Im sitting on Dea's bed listening to her play the guitar & the rain is pouring hard outside. It's almost 4am

I just might stay here all day...
I am dedicating this Monday to me staying in my cozy bed & watching old movies i have never seen before. Let the films roll
