Although life seems a little crazy right now, I am in a state of mellowness. Today I'm channeling my inner Penny Lane. The somber ways & chillness that is all of who she is. It also might have to do with this vest that I just purchased & I'm wearing right now. It makes me feel cozy & carefree.

• I finally went to see Where The Wild Things Are & since I have never read the book, I wasn't sure what to expect. I liked it very much & the childish play to it that was so endearing & real. Now that I know what it is all about I can begin to make my Max costume for Halloween!
• Last night I was on the phone with my bf Lexie for 7 hours. I miss just the pure fun of having girl talk over the phone. I think sometimes technology can take over my life & I use that as a form of communication. But a real letter or a call is almost the best.
• I have felt kind of helpless in situations lately, all I can do is be a good friend/ sister & listen. I'm better at listening then attempting to give my opinion.
• I have been counting down the days til I get to taste the glorious Thanksgiving pumpkin pie
